Nuclear Submarine “Vladimir Monomakh” to Launch “Bulava” in Two Days


Nuclear submarine “Vladimir Monomakh” left the production association “Sevmash” for the test launch of the missile “Bulava”, a source in the shipbuilding industry told to RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

Earlier, Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said that in 2014 it will be made two starts: the first will be in September from the submarine “Vladimir Monomakh” as part of the test of the submarine, and the second – in November. The remaining test launches will take place in 2015.

“APL “Vladimir Monomakh” came out from “Sevmash”. The pre-treatment of the ship was carried out. It should go back up to September 11,” the agency interlocutor said.
