Antimine Robot and Robot Fireman Tested in the Moscow Region


At the landfill of the 66th Training Centre of the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the interests of Russian engineering troops conducted tests of two types of feature-rich mobile robotic systems with remote control, one intended for mine neutralization (Uran-6) and the other – for fire fighting (Uran-14).

This was reported by the press service of the Office and information of the Ministry of Defence.

Demining complex Uran-6 neutralizes terrain in the vicinity of the troops and the deployment of command and control, provides areal humanitarian demining, makes passages in the rubble and in the ways of movement.

It can be controlled by several complexes by a single operator. The maximum distance from the operator to the mobile robotic system is up to 3 kilometers. Demining complex has set of trawls and dumps, crane, trailer and set of ramps.
