Simulators to Help Save 4 Million Liters of Fuel for Strategic Missiles Until 2020

Strategic Missile Forces will save more than 4 million liters of diesel fuel for mobile missile systems until 2020, preparing specialists at the simulators. It was told to Itar-Tass by the Strategic Missile Forces spokesperson Col. Igor Yegorov.

Today, a liter of diesel fuel costs about 30 rubles.

“By 2020, the Strategic Missile Forces plan to deliver about 1,000 simulators for training of specialists for advanced missile systems. This will allow receiving annual savings of more than 1 million liters of diesel. Given the pace of revenue simulators, it will be saved 4 million liters of diesel fuel during the six years,” Egorov said.

According to him, thanks to the trainers in Teykovsky missile formation during the teaching of mechanics and drivers, it was able to save more than 150 thousand liters of fuel.
