Russian Tankers to Get New Uniform

Tank units of the Russian army got new uniforms. The equipment should protect the tankers from debris and fire. Today, the crews of combat vehicles – a deep-upgraded T-72 B3 tanks – can evaluate not only the powerful armor and modern aiming and fire control systems, but also a unique outfit.

During the exercise, the personnel of three battalions develop new protective kit of tankers. The crew shows what the novelty is capable for – a driver takes the “fiery shower”. Flame passes on sleeves, pants, pockets – a special fabric does not melt or burn, even at a temperature of three hundred degrees.

“You do not feel absolutely anything. Only the slight warm. And it’s all. It’s really cool stuff,” the driver Alexander Yuriev says.
