“Burevestnik” to Develop Remote-Controlled Modules for Military Equipment

Equipping of combat vehicles with remotely controlled modules today is the global trend, the TSAMTO reports.

The purpose of development – “to protect the combat unit from the damaging impacts of the enemy, to improve the view of the battlefield and increase the possibility of damaging of a wide range of ground and air targets,” said the General Director of the Central Research Institute “Burevestnik” Georgiy Zakamennykh.

According to him, “in line with this trend the Central Research Institute “Burevestnik” for the past five years has development work on various platforms of remotely controlled weapons for the military hardware on the orders of the Ministry of Defense and the Interior Ministry.”
