Russia Unveils New Waterproof Communications System
The Voronezh-based Sozvezdie concern has presented a number of advanced developments that are unique for the Russian market, including the Argon-E complex. This information was furnished by the company’s press service.
“The new product can withstand immersion in water for two hours to a depth of up to one meter, operating at a temperature of minus 30 degrees to plus 50 degrees. The development provides high-quality data transmission even with strong interference, more than a million times greater than the desired signal power,” the concern said in the statement.
According to the information available, the Argon-E system can create flexible communications architectures and can be used by law enforcement agencies, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry, and border guards.
“The Argon-E complex is comparable to the best international designs, and is the only one of its kind in the domestic market,” Chief Designer Igor Lukin noted.
