Lotus Shipyard Commissions New Dry Cargo Motorship

The Lotus shipyard (Astrakhan Region) has commissioned the Anatoly Sidenko dry cargo motorship. According to the information presented by the press service of the Governor of Astrakhan Region, the vessel sailed off for the first commercial voyage.

It should be noted that this is the second Project RSD49 ship built at the shipyard. The dry cargo ship with high automation is designed for export and import transportation of various cargoes. The first Project RSD49 dry cargo ship Vladimir Zakharenko transferred to Ankor in March 2014 has already been used in the Azov, Caspian, Mediterranean and Black Seas.

It’s necessary to point out that the Anatoly Sidenko dry cargo motorship has the maximum possible dimensions for the Volga-Don navigation canal. It has a length of 140 meters and a hold capacity of 10,900 cubic meters. The cruising capacity is 20 days.
