New Large Hydrographic Boat to Join Pacific Fleet to the End of Year

Pacific Fleet until the end of the year will receive a new large hydrographic boat – it began acceptance testing, the head of the press service of the Navy Captain 1st Rank Roman Martov reported.

“Right now, we formed a crew of ten people and the representatives of commissioning team of Amur shipyard are situated in Vladivostok and preparing to go to Peter the Great Bay to test the operation of the main engines and diesel generators, systems and special equipment,” R. Martov said.

According to him, the boat will go to Kamchatka, where it will follow the submarines, service and maintain navigation equipment, carry out hydrographic work and deliver people and technics on unequipped coast.
