Air Force Pilots Learn Amphibious Aircraft Be-103

The Air Force is preparing flight crews who will operate the amphibious aircraft Be-103, the Military-Industrial Courier reports with reference to the official representative of the Air Force, Colonel Igor Klimov.

“For this purpose, basing on the level of training and experience of flight operations, it was selected 12 pilots who have undergone theoretical training in Taganrog in JSC “Beriev Aircraft Company”. For high-quality training of flight crews to operate the airplane Be-103 we developed a retraining program for flight crews, which includes theoretical, simulator and flight training,” I.Klimov said.

According to him, currently aircrew passed the theoretical training and started practical flying. “The pilots have flown more than 20 hours from the land and began to fly from the water surface,” I.Klimov said.
