Modernized “Progress-MS” to Be Ready for Launch to ISS in 2015

Modernized Russian cargo spaceship “Progress-MS” in the next year must be prepared for launch to the International Space Station (ISS). This was announced by Secretary of State – Deputy Head of the Russian Federal Space Agency Denis Lyskov, speaking at the Day of Science at the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI). “On the outer surface of each ship is to be installed four launch container, with which you can launch up to 24 satellites of the standard CubeSat -“cubes” with sides 10 cm,” he said.

Lyskov, who graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute, said, referring to the applicants that they themselves have to participate in the conquest of the Moon, asteroids and Mars.
