Russia to Develop “Road Map” of Military Robots Development

Russian Industry and Trade Ministry has announced a tender for the study of ways of development of robotics in the interests of the country’s defense (code “Parket”), the corresponding application is available on the portal of public procurement.

The aim is to develop a “roadmap” of development of robotics for military and special purposes for the period up to 2030. The winner of the tender shall, in particular, to analyze the domestic and foreign experience in the use of advanced technology in creating robotics for extreme conditions and to carry out the forecast for the development of industrial technology.

In addition, it is necessary to develop recommendations for the introduction and development of industrial technologies used in robotics, as well as to make proposals on the subject of research projects in the state programs for the development of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation in terms of military and special robotics.
