Newest Landing Boat “Denis Davydov” Successfully Completed State Tests


Newest landing boat “Denis Davydov” has successfully completed state testing and is preparing for the transfer to the Baltic Fleet, the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet reported on Friday.

Soon the boat will be audited, and then, after signing with the customer of an acceptance report, the ship will raise the naval flag, and it will become part of the amphibious ships department of the Baltic Fleet.

During the tests, the crew checked maneuverable and speed features of the boat, work of all units, systems and components, navigational and radio equipment. Also, the members of the selection committee checked the ship’s weapons – artillery firing was performed at surface and air targets.
