Russia’s Su-35 fighter jet has performed the first training flight as part of preparations for its participation in a demonstration flight program at the Airshow China 2014. According to the information available, the flight was successful and different aerobatic maneuvers were carried out for standard and adverse weather conditions.
It should be noted that the plane arrived in Zhuhai from Komsomolsk-on-Amur and was piloted by Honored Test Pilot of Russia, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Bogdan.
The Su-35 is part of the exposition to be presented by Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation at the Airshow China 2014. The company plans to demonstrate innovative Russian projects, including the Su-35 and Su-32 combat aircraft, Yak-130 trainer aircraft, as well as SSJ 100 and MS-21 civil programs.
It is worth mentioning that the Su-35 is a 4++ generation aircraft and a deep modernization of the T-10S platform developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau.
