Russian Defence Ministry to Discuss Security Measures in Crimea
Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu will hold a regular meeting of the Russian Defence Ministry’s Board to discuss security measures in Crimea and a number of other issues. This was reported by the press service of the Defence Ministry.
“In accordance with the agenda for the day, the issue of the Russian Defence Ministry’s plans on strengthening security of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Crimean Federal District will be discussed. In addition, the participants will talk about the progress of the Russian Defence Ministry’s action plan until 2020, the state of long-range aviation equipment and measures to improve its operation,” the press center informed.
It should be noted that the oversight activity of the Russian Defence Ministry for 2014 and its main objectives for 2015 will be discussed as well. The meeting will be attended by management staff of the Armed Forces, government representatives, and members of the Public Council.
