Russian Emergency Ministry: Mobile Hospital Unit to Be Modernized
Russian Emergencies Ministry plans to upgrade mobile hospital of the group “Centrospas” with ultra-modern Russian equipment, Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov said at a meeting of the government commission.
“We are currently testing a comprehensive modernization of the mobile hospital. I suggest to entrust this task by the decision of the government commission to the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, involving domestic developments and domestic manufacturers to form a new mobile hospital of the 21st century,” he said.
According to him, the first phase of making a hospital is planned to perform until December 25, the second – the first half of next year. Airmobile hospital unit “Centrospas” has 50 beds and is able to work independently.
