New Automation Systems Developed for Russian Armed Forces Artillery

Automated control systems have been developed for the missile forces and artillery (MF&A) of the Armed Forces of Russia, the chief of artillery and rocket forces of the Land Forces, Major General Michael Matveevsky told reporters on Wednesday.

“To date, we developed the complexes of automation beginning from the artillery battery to the operational level of management inclusive, that provides steady, continuous and operational management of all kinds of formations of troops,” Matveevsky said.

Matveevsky reminded that this year the armed forces adopted modernized subsystem of missile troops and artillery management of the uniform system of control of troops (forces) and weapons at the tactical level, as well as a set of automated control of rocket and jet formations of large caliber.
