KBP Explores Possibility of Adapting ZRPK “Pantsir-C1” to Various Locating Options
Instrument Design Bureau (Tula KBP, part of the holding “NPO “Precision complexes”) explores the possibility of adapting the anti-aircraft missile and gun system “Pantsir -C1″to different variants of locating, including ships and roofs of buildings in the cities, Interfax AVN writes.
“The complex was originally made so that it can be placed on various platforms, including a stationary version for the protection of some individual objects, such as nuclear power plants,” the deputy director of the “NPO “Precision complexes” – Managing Director of KBP Dmitry Konoplev reported.
Answering the question whether placing of “Pantsir -C1” is possible on the roofs of skyscrapers in the cities in the interests of defense, D.Konoplev said that such a possibility exists. “Potentially, you can place it there,” he said.
