Different Basing Schemes for “Pantsir-C1”

Instrument Design Bureau (KBP Tula, part of a holding company “NPO “Precision complexes”) explores the possibility of adapting the anti-aircraft missile and gun complex “Pantsir -C1” to different basing variants, including ships and roofs of buildings in the cities.

“The complex was originally made in such a way that it can be placed on different platform, including fixed configurations to protect any individual objects, such as nuclear power plants,” the Managing Director KBP Dmitry Konoplev told journalists.

Mr Konoplev also said that KBP interacts with the Russian Navy on the possible location of the marine version of ” Pantsir -C1″ on warships, Novosti VPK reports.
