Russia’s Foreign Intelligence to Make State Procurement from One Supplier


Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law  allowing foreign intelligence agencies of the Russian Federation to carry out the procurement of goods, works and services from a single supplier, the goods will not pass the compulsory examination.

The corresponding document has been available on the official website of legal information since Tuesday.

The law specifies that the bodies of the Federal Security Service can perform procurement of counterintelligence and counterterrorism means from a single supplier.

The list of goods, works and services must be approved by the head of the relevant body of the Russian Foreign Intelligence or the head of executive authority in the field of security.
