Russia’s Kalashnikov Concern Presents New Brand
Russia’s Kalashnikov Concern presented a new brand that would play an important role in the new development strategy. This information was furnished by the company’s press service.
According to Kalashnikov Concern CEO Alexey Krivoruchko, the main priorities of the new development strategy consists in manufacturing a wide range of competitive products, increasing effectiveness of production processes and designing a modern management structure. The investment program will make it possible to modernize old machines which volume is up to 90%, decrease production areas, reduce expenses and increase working efficiency by several times.
“Kalashnikov Concern occupies 95% of the Russian firearms market and in correspondence with a new strategy is extending production for a sales increase around the world. However, a strong and recognizable brand is necessary in order to compete with world leaders on an equal standing,” Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov said.
