Sanctions Not Affect Implementation of Factories Re-equipment Program

The program of technical re-equipment of factories for the production of aircraft engines PD-14 did not affected after the imposition of sanctions against Russia, Managing Director – Chief Designer of the company “Aviadvigatel” (Perm, part of United Engine Corporation) Alexander Inozemtsev.

“Today, technical re-equipment of enterprises participating in the creation and mass production of aircraft engine PD-14 for long-term MC-21 aircraft doesn’t meet difficulties due to the sanctions of the West,” A.Inozemtsev said.

According to him, now the government begins a large-scale program of technical re-equipment of factories for the production of the required quantity, quality and competitive engines. “For two years we have developed the technical modernization program for each of the factories of cooperation,” A.Inozemtsev said.
