Russian Base in Tajikistan Receives New Combat Kits
The 201st military base stationed in Tajikistan has received the Permyachka combat protective kits. This was reported by the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation.
According to Colonel Yaroslav Roschupkin, a spokesman for the Central Military District, the combat protective kits are made of aramid materials to provide ballistic circular protection for at least 80% of the body surface from mine fragments weighing 1.5 grams and flying at a speed of 510 meters per second, as well as from different models of small arms.
Apart from the combat protective gear, the Permyachka kit includes about 20 items for camouflaging (in summer and winter conditions) and a transport vest designed for easy placement of weapons, ammunition and other items of military equipment.
