Developer: Test of Fifth Generation Control System for Strategic Missile Forces to End in 2015

Testing of promising integrated automated command and control system for the Strategic Missile Forces will end next year, said in an interview with Tass the general director of concern “Sistemy upravleniya”, board member of the Joint Instrument Corporation (part of “Rostec”) Andrey Riznyk.

Earlier it was reported that the Strategic Missile Forces plan before the end of the year to conduct state tests of automated control system of the fifth generation, which will allow to equip the troops with this system in 2016.

“In 2015 the tests will end, it is a fact, and the second one – we expect that in 2016 the Strategic Missile Forces will be equipped with the new complexes. The work will last approximately until 2025,” Riznyk said.
