Servicemen of Southern Military District to Master New Electronic Dosimeters


Motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Military District, stationed on the territory of the Chechen Republic, passed exercises to master actions of personnel in the conditions of application of mass destruction weapons by conventional enemy.

During the event, soldiers learned the order of application of new electronic measuring dose devices IMD-2NM, which entered the units to replace the outdated sample DP-5AB (V).

The instrument is designed to measure the absorbed dose of gamma radiation, as well as the extent of radioactive contamination, military equipment and facilities for beta radiation in the conduct of military intelligence walking.

The new device has an electronic “stuffing” and is very simple to use, at the press of a button the device automatically checks its performance, goes to the operating mode (less than 1 minute) and measures the exposure dose. Unit weight – 3.21 kg.
