Breakthrough Technologies of Military Hydrometeorology Created in Russia

The technologies permitting to create modern hydrometeorological systems of armed forces at the level of world analogues have been created in Russia, the head of the Hydrometeorological Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Udrish reported.

Hydrometeorological Service of the Armed Forces on December 22 marks the 99 anniversary.

“In accordance with the State Defense Order 2014 as part of the research and development work we created breakthrough technologies permitting to create modern automated systems of hydrometeorological support of the Armed Forces at the level of world analogues,” Udrish said.

Currently hydrometeorological equipment of Armed Forces is a complex of measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of the Armed Forces considering the hydrometeorological situation.
