UIMC Finishes Modernization of Automatic Direction Finders
Russia’s United Instrument-Making Corporation has completed modernizing the series of aircraft automatic direction finders with full transition to the domestic components. The automatic direction finders with international bandwidth are installed on many types of aircraft and helicopters. “The new automatic direction finders ensure the flight safety, even in case of the failure of satellite navigation systems. They provide a successful solution of navigational problems, as well as significantly increase the safety of civil and military aircraft. Our company produces 15 variants of the advanced direction finders, including two versions of the ARK-32, eight versions of the ARK-35-1, two versions of the ARK-35-3 and three variants of the ARK-40,” Deputy Director General of the Kompas Design Bureau Vladimir Maslyuk was quoted as saying in the statement.
