Russia and India Created Conceptual Design of PAK FA Export Modification
Russia and India have completed the creation of conceptual design of the export version of the fifth generation fighter (Sukhoi PAK FA), Regional Director for International Cooperation of the United Aircraft Corporation Andrey Marshankin said on Saturday in a radio broadcast “General Staff” (Russian News Service).
Marshankin noted that while the Russian version of the fifth generation fighter aircraft is operated by a single pilot, the Indian Air Force traditionally prefer aircrafts operated by two pilots.
“In severe conditions of modern warfare it is extremely difficult to simultaneously maneuver and fire on the enemy. Currently the Indian side suggests that the Indian version of the fifth generation fighter will still be for the two pilots,” he said.
