The aviation divisions of the Eastern Military District in 2015 will receive 22 attack helicopters Ka-52 “Alligator”, the press service of Eastern Military District said Monday.

In late 2014, representatives of the aviation units of the Eastern Military District at an aircraft factory “Progress” in Primorsky Krai finished acceptance of the six combat helicopters Ka-52 “Alligator”.

“As part of the 2015 state defense order in the current year the aviation teams of the Eastern Military District plan to receive 22 units of attack helicopters Ka-52 “Alligator”,” was said in a statement.

The press service noted that ten helicopters designed for naval aviation and Pacific Fleet will be based on the Kamchatka Peninsula. In the future, the new Ka-52 will be involved in carrying out training flights and objectives as intended.
