Schwabe Created Thermal Imaging Module with Low Power Consumption

Attachment

The holding “Schwabe”, part of the State Corporation Rostec, created a prototype of universal thermal module with low power consumption and extremely wide field of view.

The new module has the necessary functions of video processing and adjusting, including modeling and change settings of characters, as well as the ability to work with two independent power sources (primary and backup) with automatic switch, which dramatically increases the time of its battery life. To use the module in night binoculars and cameras, the scientists of JSC “Schwabe – Devices” implemented the ability to control the module using the external keyboard connected directly to the device.

The module can be widely used in portable thermal imaging devices of the last generation, and is the next step in the process of improving the line of holding own products and bringing new products to market.
