WMD Receives Simulators for Solntsepyok and Shmel-M Flamethrowers
The nuclear, biological and chemical defence unit deployed in the Western Military District has started mastering the simulators of the Solntsepyok and Shmel-M flamethrowers. This was reported by the press service of the Western Military District.
According to the information available, the multimedia simulators have been supplied to the Western Military District in early 2015, and are now being mastered by 300 soldiers. The flamethrower operators are training on the Yanychar and Kaunas multimedia simulators. Their interfaces make it possible to practice the rules of firing flamethrowers from different positions.
According to Semyon Roslin, a spokesman for the Western Military District, simulators are being used to train both conscripts and contract soldiers.
