Russia and India to Implement 200 Joint Military Projects
The current program of military-technical cooperation between Russia and India envisages the implementation of 200 joint projects. This was announced by a spokesman for the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade.
Russian Defence Minister Gen. Sergey Shoygu earlier said that Russia and India would also carry out joint work on a multipurpose transport plane, a fifth generation fighter jet and a number of naval projects.
“The current program of cooperation between Russia and India stipulates the implementation of 200 joint projects,” the representative of the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade stated.
The most important projects related to the transfer of licenses for the production of Russian arms and military equipment in India includes the production of Su-30MKI multipurpose fighters, T-90S main battle tanks and AL-55I aircraft engines.
