Newest Military Training Ground in Ashuluk to Be Built This Year

Interspecific district training ground of the Russian Defense Ministry in Ashuluk in southern Russia should be accomplished before the end of 2015, and the objects necessary for the trainings in the summer – already by March 1, a source informed on the progress of construction told RIA Novosti.

According to the press service of the contractor company “Spetsstroy” who carries out orders of the military department, the infrastructure for “Ashuluk” training area in the Astrakhan region will be built this year, the construction documents are developed, the resolution of Gosexpertiza on the technical side for the construction of railway and highway is obtained.

“We have fairly optimistic forecasts because the pace of construction is good. Those objects, where in the summer training period it is planned to conduct field actions, must be accomplished by March 1, and the training ground – until the end of the year,” the source said.
