Permanent group of the Navy Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea will be replenished with patrol ship “Ladniy”, head of the press service of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain 1st Rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev said on Friday.

The current campaign for the “Ladniy” is the first after the completion of the renovation and modernization of individual ship systems.

“It is planned that the TFR “Ladniy” on the basis of rotation of forces will become part of a permanent unit of the Navy in the Mediterranean Sea, where it will replace patrol ship of the Baltic Fleet, “Yaroslav Mudriy”, Trukhachev said.

He noted that at the moment the ship had already left Sevastopol and headed for the Black Sea straits.
