Booster Dnepr with South Korean Satellite to Be Launched in Orenburg region


The Russian government issued a decree allowed the Defense Ministry to launch the booster RS-20B “Dnepr” (“Satan” by NATO classification), developed by Ukraine, with South Korean communication satellite from the launching area Dombarovsky in the Orenburg region.

This follows from the document published on the official web portal of legal information, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier it was reported that the launches of the conversion carrier rockets “Satan” with commercial satellites under the program of the joint venture “Kosmotras” are suspended for an indefinite period, Roskosmos confirmed to the RIA Novosti news agency.
