Eleron Obtains Patent for New Utility Model


Russia’s Eleron has received a patent for a video monitoring device to be used in the areas with high levels of ionizing radiation (utility model No. 148690).

According to the company’s press service, the invention relates to the technical means of visual control and is designed for providing continuous remote monitoring of the operations with nuclear materials in the areas with high levels of ionizing gamma radiation and neutron exposure, as well as for recording, storing and transmitting video to external devices. The patented device will be used in the video surveillance system at the facilities of the Rosatom State Corporation.

In 2014, the company received 14 proprietary articles, including 3 patents, 8 certificates for computer programs and 3 know-hows, and submitted 9 applications for inventions and utility models and 6 applications for computer programs. The company has a total of 63 patents and certificates.
