Concern “Radio-electronic technology” (KRET), part of the State Corporation Rostec, for the first time presented samples of avionics systems complex for advanced MS-21 aircraft. The series production and delivery of the developed equipment are planned for 2016.

To implement the policy of import substitution, KRET will replace most of the imported avionics for domestic products in the latest airplanes MS-21 and SSJ 100. As a result, the share of Russian-made avionics will almost double – from currently 48% to 80% by the end of 2015, the press service of the concern reports.

The demonstration was held in the Institute of Aircraft Equipment (NIIAO) for the Corporation “Irkut”, which is the sole executor of development and certification of aircraft MS-21, as well as representatives of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, UAC, the State Corporation Rostec and the Company “Sukhoi”.
