Mexico considers relations with the Russian Space Agency as a strategic partnership and is interested in sharing experiences and knowledge with the Russian agency in the field of space exploration.

This was stated in an interview with RIA Novosti by the Mexican ambassador to Russia Ruben Beltran.

“For us, Roscosmos is a very important organization. In 2013, two Mexican satellites were launched by the rocket “Proton”. The Mexican Space Agency is a beginner in this industry, and we consider the relationship with the Russian Space Agency as strategic,” he said.

The diplomat noted that Mexico is very interested in the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of space. “And the director of the Mexican Space Agency many times expressed his interest in sharing knowledge, perhaps we will reach some sort of agreement on this issue,” Beltran said.
