Russia to Showcase Advanced Air Defence Systems in India

Russia’s Almaz-Antey expects that visitors of the Aero India exhibition will be interested in its air defence missile systems, including S-400 Triumf and Tor-M2KM. This information was presented by the company’s press service on Monday.

“The quality and performance characteristics of our air defence systems surpass those of foreign counterparts and have a distinct advantage over the so-called clones that incorporated engineering solutions of the Tor-M2KM system,” Almaz-Antey Deputy Director General Vyacheslav Dzirkaln said.

It should be noted that the Aero India exhibition will take place in the city of Bangalore on February 18-22. Mr. Dzirkaln will head a delegation of Russia’s Almaz-Antey that will include the representatives of nine subsidiaries. According to the official information, the company will demonstrate models and posters of its Tor-M2KM air defence system with combat and technical equipment, as well as S-400 Triumf and S-300VM (Antey-2500), Buk-M2E and Tor-M2E systems.
