Aviation Equipment to Develop Chassis for Yak-152 Training Aircraft
Russia’s Aviation Equipment will develop a chassis for the Yak-152 training aircraft. The corresponding agreement was signed with the Yakovlev Design Bureau. The development work is due to be finished in December 2016.
Under a contract with the Yakovlev Design Bureau, the company shall develop chassis units, test them and transfer to the customer. The first sets for static and endurance tests shall be produced in August 2015. The serial deliveries of the units shall begin in 2017.
It’s worth mentioning that the Yak-152 has been developed in accordance with the technical specifications presented by the Russian Defence Ministry. It will become part of the training complex that includes the Yak-152 for initial training, Yak-130 for advanced training and a unified training complex.
