Russia’s Shvabe, a part of the Rostec State Corporation, has registered its Latin and Cyrillic trademarks in the Kingdom of Morocco for 16 classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services. This information was presented by the company’s press service.
The holding has obtained unique rights to use its trademarks in the Kingdom of Morocco for research, development and sales of medical devices, optical systems, lighting and surveying equipment, as well as for industrial analysis, materials handling and educational process support.
“The Kingdom of Morocco is a new market for our company. The first negotiations with potential partners in this country have revealed interest in our medical products and lighting equipment,” Deputy Director General for Sales, Foreign Activities and Marketing Anatoly Sludnykh stated.
Morocco has become the first country in North Africa, where Shvabe registered its trademarks. The company plans to continue developing cooperation in the field of trademark registration with Tunisia, Egypt and other countries.
Russia’s Rosoboronexport is going to enter new markets in the Asia-Pacific Region, including Brunei and the Philippines. This came in a statement by Head of the Regional Department of Rosoboronexport Vladimir Ereschenko.
“We are on the point of developing cooperation with a number of countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. In particular, we would like to conquer markets of the Philippines and Brunei, expand cooperation with Thailand, intensify contacts with South Korea,” Mr. Ereschenko, who is in charge of the Russian delegation at the LIMA-2015 exhibition taking place in Malaysia, said.
The representative of Rosoboronexport also stressed that all these countries had traditionally relied on Western manufacturers.
“However, there are new opportunities that we will use,” Mr. Ereschenko concluded.
Russian Helicopters will demonstrate its latest developments at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, LIMA-2015, which will be held in Malaysia on March 17-21.
Russian Helicopters will showcase its multirole Mi-171A2 and Ansat helicopters. Together with Rosoboronexport, the company will also display Mi-35M, Mi-171Sh, and Mi-17V-5 helicopters for representatives of the law enforcement agencies of Malaysia and other countries of South East Asia.
“The countries in the Asia-Pacific Region are witnessing dynamic economic development. Demand for helicopters in the region is constantly growing. Our company is interested in this region and plans to expand its presence here. At LIMA-2015, we will showcase the latest Russian-made commercial helicopters that are most relevant to the countries across South East Asia. We see interest in these models among our potential partners, and hope to develop mutually beneficial cooperation,” Russian Helicopters CEO Alexander Mikheev stated.
About 20 types of advanced electronic warfare (EWF) equipment will be supplied to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as part of the state defence order in 2015. It is expected to complete developing and start purchasing at least 10 products in the near future. This information was presented by the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry.
The new EWF systems will comprise jamming, radar and navigation equipment, facilities for protection from high-precision weapons, and control devices. The most important facilities include Krasukha-2O, Murmansk-BN, Borisoglebsk-2, Krasukha-S4 and Svet-KU. In addition, the manufacturer has successfully completed state tests of the Lorandit-M radio control and jamming complex that meets all modern requirements for mobility and reliability.
It should be noted that EWF systems are one of the most knowledge-intensive types of military equipment incorporating innovative solutions and technologies.
The promising aviation complex of transport aircraft will appear in Russia in 2025, it will be a family of three aircrafts, with a capacity greater than currently available in service, a source in the military-industrial complex told RIA Novosti.
“It will be a promising transport aircraft. This is a whole family – heavy, very heavy and super heavy jets. But we don’t have yet the specifications from military, or adevelopment work, or an order. It’s kind of an initiative development, but it is done with an eye to the future requirements of the Defense Ministry. It will appear at the turn of 2025,” the source said.
According to a source, the main executor of the project will be the Ilyushin Design Bureau, but the planes will be constructed in large-scale cooperation of aviation enterprises by the example of the operating project IL-76, the assembly of elements of which is made partly in Kazan, Ulyanovsk and Voronezh.
Rosoboronexport will hold talks with defense ministers of Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh at exhibition LIMA-2015, the company’s CEO Anatoly Isaykin told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
“We plan to hold a series of meetings here, because on the eve it took place a meeting of defense ministers of ASEAN, and today they all attend the exhibition. We are planning to hold talks with defense ministers of Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, commanders in chief of a number of other countries of the region. We will have a very busy program,” Isaykin said.
According to him, Rosoboronexport hopes that the exhibition will be a good impetus to further increase the popularity of Russian military equipment in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Rosoboronexport” is in talks with Sri Lanka on the organization of a service center for helicopter maintenance and repair of armored vehicles, the head of the regional department of “Rosoboronexport” Vladimir Ereschenko said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Ereschenko heads a delegation of “Rosoboronexport” at LIMA-2015 opened on Tuesday in Langkawi (Malaysia).
“I note the expansion of cooperation with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Sri Lanka is currently being consulted on the organization of service center for helicopters and repair of armored vehicles and infantry fighting vehicles,” Ereschenko said.
With regard to Bangladesh, then, in his words, “we carry a large package of contracts for the supply of aircraft and armored vehicles.”
During the exhibition LIMA-2015, “Rosoboronexport” will present air defense systems for military and political leadership of Malaysia, the head of the regional department of “Rosoboronexport” Vladimir Ereschenko said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He heads a delegation of “Rosoboronexport” at LIMA-2015 opened on Tuesday in Langkawi (Malaysia).
“Perhaps, the Russian air defense systems are one of the most promising in the field of military-technical cooperation with Malaysia. Here the interest to the Russian air defense is really, really big, in particular to “Igla-S” and “Pantsir-S1” and “Buk-M2E”. In particular, during the exhibition LIMA it will be held an appropriate presentation for military and political leadership of this country,” Ereschenko said.
Russia’s Foundation for Advanced Research Projects is creating a unified simulation system for developing hypersonic aircraft. The new equipment will incorporate domestic computational modules. This came in a statement by Deputy Director Vitaly Davydov.
“We should combine efforts of all the institutions and organizations working in this field. For this purpose, we have to create a central core, a unified integrated digital system that will combine data on all the developments. In our view, we should exclude the situations when someone has been successful in heat or aerodynamic calculations, but nobody can use them because they have no access to the data,” Mr. Davydov said, noting that the project will be aimed at creating a national library of programs for functional modeling of advanced hypersonic aircraft in the interests of all the concerned companies.
It’s worth noting that hypersonic aircraft will reach speeds of Mach 5 or greater.
The Express-AM7 telecommunications satellite scheduled for launch on March 19 was installed on a launching pad after fuelling of the upper stage. This was announced by the press service of the Russian Federal Space Agency Roscosmos.
The space rocket consisting of the Proton-M carrier rocket, Briz-M upper stage and Express-AM7 telecommunications satellite was set up vertically on a launching device of the Proton launching complex.
It should be noted that the Express-AM7 spacecraft was designed by EADS Astrium for the Russian Space Communications company. It is intended to provide television and radio broadcasting services, wideband communication and multimedia services, data transmission, telephony, and mobile communications.
