Measuring Equipment for Cosmodrome Vostochny Created in Russia
Technique of United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation (included in Rostec) will provide the necessary measurements during rocket launches from the new Russian cosmodrome Vostochny.
Currently, the United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation develops the transceiver systems, ending of development work for which is scheduled for the second half of 2015, the Director of the Department of Innovative Development of the Corporation Alexander Kalinin told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
“Reception and transmission of information on all spacecraft systems allows to control its flight and to monitor the situation in the drop zones of separating parts of the rocket. The stations receive information from spacecraft and transfer it to the Mission Control Center, ground mobile units based in the impact areas, cosmodrome and a ship, also part of the measuring complex,” Kalinin said.
According to him, it is created a whole range of instruments for measuring, collection and processing of operational information obtained from space rockets. It is intended to provide launches of manned and unmanned spacecraft at the cosmodrome Vostochny.
