Russia to Pay More Attention to Cyber Security Threats
The cyber security threats have become more sophisticated and have more serious consequences than before. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin at the Cyber Security Conference.
“This issue is very important and urgent. We are moving to the formation of a new armament program using smart weapons. Any modern device has software. The cyber security threats have three sources. The first is a more powerful country, the second is an opponent equal in strength, and the third is a weaker opponent,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister said, citing terrorist organizations as an example.
“We see that a lot of intellectuals are terrorists. They may turn against our country. The destruction of large industrial centers can lead to consequences comparable to the use of weapons of mass destruction,” Mr. Rogozin concluded.
