Rosoboronexport to Conquer New Markets in Asia-Pacific Region

Russia’s Rosoboronexport is going to enter new markets in the Asia-Pacific Region, including Brunei and the Philippines. This came in a statement by Head of the Regional Department of Rosoboronexport Vladimir Ereschenko.

“We are on the point of developing cooperation with a number of countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. In particular, we would like to conquer markets of the Philippines and Brunei, expand cooperation with Thailand, intensify contacts with South Korea,” Mr. Ereschenko, who is in charge of the Russian delegation at the LIMA-2015 exhibition taking place in Malaysia, said.

The representative of Rosoboronexport also stressed that all these countries had traditionally relied on Western manufacturers.

“However, there are new opportunities that we will use,” Mr. Ereschenko concluded.
